It has a vibrant character with an amazingly fresh fragrance, with brilliant umami and eye-opening greenness. Fans delight in the nuances in this tea’s flavour, which change year-to-year depending on the climate in the regions.
Classic and Mature: Kumpu is a regular Ippodo sencha. Since it has been rested after harvest, it has a more mature, more developed taste. An elegant full-bodied blend with umami, sweetness, and a delicate, lingering aftertaste.
